Have It Your Way
Not every business process is the same... sometimes you just have to think outside the box. Put our expertise in User Interface Design, Usability and Work Flow to work for you - from simple one step applications to complete complex processes.
Our typical process is described in a bit more detail here:
Define the Work Flow and Functionality Requirements & Technologies
General Requirements: It is the intent of the User Interface Requirements Document to serve as a dynamic guide and ongoing reference for all
project stakeholders involved. In addition, during the execution of a project, the Project Management Plan will be utilized. Also the preferred technologies
will be determined to best suite project scope and scalability. |
Create Visual Flow Chart
| Visual Work Flow Review: The user interface is as much a work flow as any of your business processes. Identifying and addressing user expectations and logic
are the most important phase of the development process. Get this wrong and subsequent repairs will exponentially increase required efforts. |

Develop Static Wire Frame Work Flow Proof of Concept
Web Site Wire-Frame: Wire-frames– combined with Site Maps -are core tools of information architects. Web site
wire-frames are useful for conveying the general page structure, page flow and content requirements for individual web pages. This is referred to
as the content architecture. Often there will be basic user testing to flush out potential user issues before starting UI design. |
Design and Implement User Interface
Graphical User Interface: Implementing the graphical user interface (G.U.I) commences once the final content architecture is approved by the stake holders.
Close collaboration between application developers (engineers) and UI designers now becomes imperative for clear understanding for efficient and accurate interaction between the interface and back-end. |
Perform Usability Testing
Usability Verified: Before the application is fully built another user interface testing phase is performed to verify UI elements
support the intended application flow derived from the wire-frame work flow proof of concept. Objective users, those who have not yet observed the application
are inducted to give accurate results. |
Develop and Implement Functional Application
Application Development: When all the preparation, user testing, and designing is completed the application is built. The programming is written and the
back-end developed and prepared for real users. This includes yet another phase of testing, usually performed by Quality Assurance engineers. For small web applications such
as simple forms and such this is not required, simple client testing will suffice.

Not all applications need to be developed from the ground up. With the advent of open source applications we may be able to fill your need with less development than you might expect.
Have an idea for your site, or maybe you just want to find out what's possible. We love to brainstorm and to work with our clients to solve and tackle the challenges. If you would like to see samples or case studies, contact us. |
